Morning Brief – 7:00 AM
The day starts early at Reeves Heating & Cooling, as we gather for our morning briefing. Today’s schedule is packed with various HVAC services across Newton and surrounding communities. With my service toolbox ready, I head out to my first appointment.
First Call – 8:00 AM (Kellogg)
My first stop is a routine heater maintenance check in Kellogg. Winter is approaching, and preventive maintenance is crucial. I inspect the:
• Heat exchanger
• Burners
• Electrical connections
• Air filters
• Safety controls
Mid-Morning – 10:30 AM (Colfax)
Next up is a smart thermostat installation in Colfax. More homeowners are embracing smart home technology, and these devices offer incredible energy-saving benefits. The installation goes smoothly, and I take time to walk the homeowner through the basic functions.
Lunch Break – 12:30 PM
A quick lunch in Monroe before heading to the afternoon calls.
Afternoon – 1:30 PM (Goddard)
The afternoon brings an AC service call in Goddard. Despite being fall, maintaining air conditioning systems year-round ensures they’re ready when needed.
Late Afternoon – 3:30 PM (Reasnor)
The final stop of the day is in Reasnor for an HVAC consultation. A family is considering upgrading their system, and I provide them with various energy-efficient options that suit their home’s specific needs.
End of Day – 5:00 PM
Back at the office, I complete my service reports and prepare for tomorrow’s schedule. Another satisfying day of helping Iowa residents maintain comfortable indoor environments throughout all seasons.
