Early Morning Preparations
My day as an HVAC technician starts before sunrise. At 6:30 AM, I review the day’s service schedule and load up my truck with the essential parts and tools we might need for the day’s appointments throughout Tampa Bay.
First Call: AC Installation
By 8:00 AM, I’m at our first job in Carrollwood, where a family needs a complete air conditioning installation. The Florida heat doesn’t wait for anyone, so we prioritize getting their system up and running efficiently. The satisfaction of seeing immediate relief on our customers’ faces when cool air starts flowing is unmatched.
Midday Emergency
Around noon, we receive an urgent call from Wesley Chapel – a system failure during peak heat. These situations remind me why preventative maintenance is so crucial in our climate. We quickly diagnose the issue and restore comfort to the home.
Afternoon Maintenance
The afternoon takes me to Westchase for scheduled maintenance visits. I perform:
– System efficiency checks
– Filter replacements
– Coil cleaning
– Refrigerant level verification
– Electrical connection inspections
End of Day
Before heading back to headquarters in Town ‘n’ Country, I complete a final service call in Lutz. Documentation is crucial, so I ensure all service reports are properly filed and parts inventory is updated for tomorrow’s assignments.
